Default Clicks but won't move

I have an 02 Ez Go that I bought last year. I have had no problems out of it at all, until a month or so ago. I had been riding it, got off for just a few minutes, and when I got back in, I hit the pedal and nothing. The solenoid clicks but that is it. I have seen this issue in other posts, but I wanted some other opinions as well. The batteries seem to be fine, charger works, lights work, back up beeper works, but it won't move. I can generally hold my own working on things, but this being my first cart, I don't have a lot of experience with electric motors, controllers, etc. From what I have read, and the best I can figure, it sounds like this is probably a controller problem. That being said, is there an easy way to check the controller? I have looked through the stickys, but didn't see exactly what I was looking for. Any help here would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Welcome to BGW.

First we need to identify which type drive system is in your cart.
Since it is a 2002, I believe it'll either be a Series or PDS.

You'll need a DMM to do any troubleshooting, an inexpensive one will do.

What is you battery pack voltage? (BL- to BL+ on picture below)

Might be the solenoid, might be the motor, might be the controller, might be bad cable(s), might be something else, have to do some troubleshooting to figure out which.

If you haven't already, go to the bottom sticky at the top of this forum and download the Operator, the Service and the parts manuals for your cart. (File names contain 28645, 28646 and 28789 respectively) Tons of good info in them.

Also go to ScottyB's website and read everything on the top left menu that has "Battery" in the title.
