If it's a PDS cart then yes driving it at half speed with a load with big tires can cause it to over heat. The controller may go into shut down mod or limp mode depending on how hot it gets. My wife has had this happen a few times and when I go to check it out it runs fine.

Thank you for this feedback. The driver said he thought it may have overheated/a sensor triggered but couldn't think of why. Driving slow, with 3 adults up an incline seemed taxing but he does it on his own cart - different model though (Club).
