'09 EZGO RXV - Opinions?
Sold my gas Yamaha stretch and looking for a new project. I have a line on a '09 RXV that is coming off a lease at a course and looking for opinions. The price will be right but I will have no info on the history of the cart. Any general opinions on a late model, high hour RXV? Thanks!

Seems like a lot of issues with those models as of late. Do a search here and you will see.

A fleet guy is gonna have a good view of what is going on since they have to keep all those carts going. I doubt there are that many people who go out and buy these brand new and most of us guys who get a used cart, is a off lease vehicle.

I don't disagree and I don't doubt that he reported his own experience accurately. Just thought that maybe he was maintaining 60 carts that were built on a Friday afternoon since not many others were chiming in with similar horror stories.

I honestly don't think we have many RXV guys in here to post up. From the ones here that work on them there seems to be a mantra of the early ones having a issue that no one can pin point but is resolved in newer models.

Re: '09 EZGO RXV - Opinions?
On a side note, there are not a lot of parts available for the RXV yet and I don't know that I like the idea of "Brake by wire" to stop my cart. Give me a cable drum or Hydraulic set up any day. When the controller has to run the cart and stop it, things are getting a little to techno for my own liking.

Just like drive by wire on newer cars. Sounds scary. What if there is a short. Yea know. Parts in the aftermarket world are hard to come by. Get a txt and be done with it.
