Anyone know where I can find these type of tires?
One of our managers came in for a visit from Florida. We were discussing that I need to get new tires for our 2003 EZ-GO Textron (non-modified) golf cart.
She said that she had purchased some solid rubber tires and that she loves them. She never gets flats, doesn't need to inflate them, and they barely wear at all. She couldn't remember where she got them from, and I had not heard or seen these on any of the golf cart websites I have been frequenting lately. Does anyone happen to know where I can find these or who might sell that? Thanks, David |

Google is your friend when looking for flat free golf cart tires.

Re: Anyone know where I can find these type of tires?
I've been using these solid rubber filled tires on two of my CC's. they are very heavy and make for a rough ride. Since using them I've broken a front spindel on one and a rear leaf spring on the other. I think the heavy unsprung weight of the tires are to blam for these things. I.ve never had any problem with other cars with air tires, and I drive them a lot harder than these two

Solid tires are meant for smooth terrain just like forklift tires. JMHO

Place I worked for in Az. did the filling of the solid tires for use in the copper mines. Durable as all heck.....weigh a ton+. I don't think I would want them on a cart. Might look into local tire shops that work on heavy equipment tires.

This company will solid fill your tire and wheel assembly. It's $55 for an 18.5x8.5x8. The company is only in Florida, though.
http://www.boulevardtire.com/ I have these on my industrial cart. They are heavy! :) |
