Sound right?
Okay just want to verify with the experts that this is right.
I got my ezgo back today, and going to try and get it running one more time. Okay, I'll put my connections in a list how I have them connected: Cable from negative side of solenoid to B+ Cable from B+ to A2 on the motor Cable from M- to A1 on the motor Cable from B- to negative on battery pack Cable from positive side of solenoid fused to positive on the battery pack Activation circuit: Red wire is on same post as cable coming from + on battery pack Yellow wire is in the little terminal on that same side Blue wire is on the opposite side of yellow Silver band on diode is on same side as yellow wire F2 wire to F2 F1 wire to F1 Factory harness plugged into PDS adapter Run/Tow switch plugged in. White from charge port to + main Black from charge port to - main What else am I missing or does anybody see anything wrong? Any flow chart I should be following? |

Re: Sound right?
Cable from negative side of solenoid to B+
Not sure what you mean here ??, but it's not right EDIT: I think you mean, the small post, blue wire as neg, and refereeing to the large post on that side of the solenoid?, then yes it looks good Both large post on the solenoid are POS + Cable from B+ to A2 on the motor Cable from M- to A1 on the motor Cable from B- to negative on battery pack Cable from positive side of solenoid fused to positive on the battery pack |

Re: Sound right?
There is no negative or positive side of the solenoid.
Only the diode has polarity restrictions. The banded side has to be toward the positive wire. Back to the solenoid ~ It is a light switch. The big posts are the B+ main power in and power out. This is what is what is being switched on and off. The switching is activated at the small posts. Here is where the negative comes in It takes a positive and a negative to activate the switch. So you will have one positive and one negative switching signal leads...... guess what the solenoid does not care where you put what. Pick a small post and put the + or - wire there and then put the opposite + or - on the other small post. The solenoid is correctly wired. Now the diode cares bunches how it is orientated. Put the banded end of the diode toward the positive activation wire on the small posts. That's it |

Re: Sound right?
Rib yes sorry that is the only way I could think to describe it. I was relating it to the activation circuit.
Scotty thanks man. So it appears I have EVERYTHING wired up right then! Before I try and make it run I need to program my controller. |
