'03 ez-go PDS reverse buzzer's too loud

The reverse buzzer on my 2003 ez-go PDS is way louder than it needs to be and annoying to all around. How do I access the buzzer and how could I lower the db's?(duct tape?)

yep duct tape should work well just patch it over your "speaker" and it should be nice and quiet :) still audible but not near as loud

Yep...just put a piece of duct tape or electrical tape over the hole and your good to go.

Another option is to stuff one of those foam ear plugs into the hole in the center of the buzzer. Works quite well.

On the dash where the key and direction switch is located, drill out those 2 plastic rivets and take that plate off. Inside there you will see the buzzer.

Pull the orange wire on the buzzer on the right. You can always slip it back on if you need to test the cart.

while your at it you might want to just remove the buzzer and put in some mood lights or hook up a redlight on the dash so u know when ur in reverse i cant tell you how many times i get back to the cart and the kids or the dogs have fliped the fr switch and there is a great wall of china behind me

That's a very good argument for just quieting the buzzer versus disabling it and not to mention you lose the diagnostics if you disable.
