Stereo Install in a 05 EZ GO
hey guys, new user here and first post. i'm installing a stereo in my 05 ez-go and need help with the wiring. any suggestions and advice would be appreciated. thanks.

I made this cheesy diagram that helped me when I installed mine. It saved me time instead of remembering it in my head. I hooked mine up to a toggle switch instead of wiring into the key switch. You will also need a fuse on the power wire.

I'm trying to do the same thing,on the radio b+ run it to the second battery in the series for 12v,and also tie the 12v switched on the radio to the same spot?and ground the radio black to ground on any battery?Is this correct!Idont want to blow any thing up!!i'm getting good at that since I got a cart!!hahaha

Did you run your power off 1 batt. like in your pic or 2 batts

The positive wire goes to the first battery and the negative goes to the 2nd battery to create 12 volts out of two 6 volt batteries. The picture shows how the positive and negative wires are run.

i've wired the radio like this and it seems to be working fine. i am gonna put a switch on it though to keep the trickle down.
