I have sold the 6v battery cart but.....It had old trojans which read higher than 6.37?
I have some 8v I'll go check ? What should they read?

Voltages higher than 6.37 for a 6v are considered surface charge and will dissipate quickly.

As for the 8v, they will be 8.49v at 100%.

I'm Trying To Charge My Batteries To See Whos Right!the Pack Is At 32.43v And The Cart Barely Moves,is That Normal? Also When I Plug The Charger In It Wont Come On ! Charger Worked 2 Days Ago On The Same Cart,it Charged To 36.7 And Still Was Not Off,thats Why I Was Wondering What The Charged Volts For The Pack Should Be!did Not Want To Blow Anything Up!thanks

The charger puts out around 42 volts (or a little more) When its done charging you will have a higher surface charge than say...an hour after it's finished charging. You need to measure the pack voltage after its finished charging and had time to settle down a bit. A 36 volt pack is considered dead at 36 volts. Try not to run them below 36 volts. All your doing is hurting your batteries.

You need to check the specific gravity of each cell on every battery.

I generally see 38.6 low side to 39.4 high side on a freshly charged 36v pack. The only time I see 42v + is during charge cycle and immediately afterwards and the voltage is on its way down.

What's your secret? Inquiring minds want to know.
You may be right. There have been some high readings carelessly thrown about.
I tested my less than 1 yr old 8v trojans before charging, 1/2hour after charging, and 12 hours after charging. Results were as follows:
8.24 8.70 8.53
8.23 8.59 8.43
8.36 8.75 8.61
8.29 8.72 8.56
8.28 8.60 8.49
8.26 8.59 8.44
49.66 51.95 51.06

I may not be the only one confused? What happened to 2.35 volts @ cell?

Never heard of 2.35 volts...heard 2.3 before.
2.3 volts per cell is the "theoretical" voltage each cell will produce. As we all know real world is not like that. Actually a battery should produce 2.13 -2.15 volts on a good battery. A 12 volt battery should produce 12.6 to 12.8 vdc.

Have you tried bypassed the relay on the board inside the charger? If bypassing the relay won't kick it off then the charger is toast.
