Exclamation Need Hel Asap 1995 Ezgo Electric 36v

SO I BOUGHT A 1995 EZ GO ELECTRIC GOLF CART AND I CHARGED THE BATTERIES AND I TRIED RIDING IT AND IF I FLOOR OT ALL THE WAY THE CAR JUST SHUTS OFF AND IF I GO LITTLE BY LITTLE IT GOES BUT VERY SLOW, AND WEN I GUN IT IT DIES TOO, .

SO I NEED HELP IM NEW AND DONT REALLY KNOW ABOUT GOLF CARTS.

always start with the basics........grab and pull each cable to make sure they are good and tight and also very clean where they bolt on.....test the batteries and load test them and if you have to check each cell with a hydrometer.......when it quits does the solenoid still click?...........each battery should be approx 6.5 volts give or take one..........................

oh thnx,, im replacing all the battery cables and cleaning the batteries, yes there is a click when it quits,,
and each battery has about 6.8 volts

prbly the batt cables, high voltage low amps not soogood :) also check connections on the controller

yea thnx , wen i took of the seat there was a sensoer or sumthing that has the wires cut of and there was 2 other wires hanging,, and that thing has a lever so went u press the pedal down it pushes it,

well the connectors are still on there they cut the wire, and i cant find the wires m but there is 2 that are hanging but they have loop ends on them already so im not sure were they go, , ill try n post sum pics up in a while.

There are no "sensors' on that cart. I would check out the throttle pot. You will need a volt/ohm meter to check it. If your gonna keep the cart a volt/ohm meter is a must have tool. You simply can't diagnose a cart very well without one.

Throttle on those cart runs from 0-5K ohm...0 being 0% throttle and 5K being 100% throttle.
