1997 ezgo charger problems
ezgo charger problemMy wife pluged the 97 ezgo cart in during an electrical storm. Now the charger does not work. So I took it apart and the 50amp fuse was blown and one of the bolt on diode popped. My 08 ezgo charger has the heat sink with diodes in it so my question is can i put the heat sink with diode in the 97 charger or should i stick with the bolt on diode????? both power wise chargers |

Re: 1997 ezgo charger problems
its always best to try and keep it original so if you can get the fuse and diode i would go that route................................

Re: 1997 ezgo charger problems
If the chargers are the same, then yes. If you have an 08 cart, then you should have received either an IQ charger or a powerwise II, which is not the same as the earlier charger models...
