I have a 2006 EZGO TXT that will not run when the pedal is mashed. I charged the batteries and when I mash the pedal I hear a dull click like I normally do just before the cart accelarates. Nothing else happens. Could this be the solenoid?

Welcome to BGW!
When is the last time you checked your cables? Check them out, make SURE they are all clean and tight. I don't mean look at them, I mean MAKE SURE all your cable connections are good. |

I took all the cables off, cleaned them and tighened them. I did notice one of the cable ends has a small hole in it. Maybe I need to replace it.

I'll bet you have a bad ITS in the pedal box. It's around $170.00, so you should take your cart to a shop and have them check it out...

anyways...you can check your ITS real easy. With a volt/ohm meter 1.Place the (+) probe on the white wire terminal of the connector. 2.Depress the pedal slowly. The reading should be 0.45 - 0.53 volts just as the microswitch is activated. Depress the pedal slowly to full throttle. To ready should move smoothly to about 1.5 volts. If the reading is incorrect, The Throttle Sensor is defective. |

roady 89. Thanks for the info. This is the first problem I have had with my cart so could you tell me where the white wire is. Is the pedal box the box that has the solenoid in it? The only white wire I see in this box is a small one in a 10 wire connector.
