Default Which to buy

I am looking at purchasing a late model electric ezgo. I want to use a mild lift kit with some larger all terrain tires. Will drive on street and off road. What should I look for?

Thanks!

Welcome to BGW.

For street and speed, go with a PDS Cart. (Shunt wound motor - aka Sepex)
For off-road and Torque, go with a Series Cart. (Series wound motor)

For the best of both. you need two carts.

To do both with one cart, it's a compromise of each.

Putting tall tires on it will require upgrades to either type.

Go with a series cart for both situations. My 48v series TXT in my avatar will go anywhere offroad and will do just shy of 30 mph on the street. But it took alot of modifications and money to get it there.

Is it best to just look for a 48 volt as well.
