Default charger troubleshooting guide ????

Just wondering if someone here can point me toward a good troubleshooting guide for 36 volt chargers.

I have had 2 die on me in less than a week with 2 seperate carts.

One is a powerwiser for an EZ-GO. (note) I have a second charger and it works on the EZ go so it is not the batteries.

The other is a Lestermatic II for a 36 volt club car. (note) I also have a second charger for this car but it is an older EZ-GO 36 volt with a timer that will charge the cart.

Thanks Mike in south Georgia

Default update, charger troubleshooting guide ????

I have found the problem with the powerwiser charger by trail and error. I pulled the control board out of the working charger and now the non working one works.

I would still like to know if there is a trouble shooting guide somewhere that will explain how to pin point the problem if you did not have extyra parts to remove and replace with.

Since I do not have the correct extra parts to do the same experiment with the lestronic II automatic charger is there a way to (straight wire) or bypass the relay and timmer or is there a sure fire way to make sure that my problem is not the transformer. Any thing short of a bad transformer would be cost effective to repair.

I hope to hear from someone with knowledge on the subject soon.

Thanks in advance.
