Constant beep and 5-2 error code
2006 ezgo MPT 48v ezgo cart. I installed new batteries and everything worked great until I put the cart on the charger overnight. The batteries leaked out of the caps and left a large puddle of battery fluid. I poured two gallons of a water/baking soda mixture on them and then the cart started with the constant beeping. The error code is 5-2 (check coil connections, replace coil).
The connections are solid. Must I now change the coil? or is there something else I should check before ordering the part? Thanks |

Re: Constant beep and 5-2 error code
I read the error code after connecting the battery cables. Five quick blinks followed by two quick blinks. All the while the beep is constant. No modifications have been done that I can tell. I just purchased the cart and it looks like the controller may be new but other than that I don't know.
