So Gornoman..., all you did was connect two more batteries in series and add a 500 amp controler?

I have already upgraded the battery cables on my cart to 4 gauge. With this configuration, should I upgrade the motor/controller cables to #4's as well? This thread is helping both of us.

Thanks for the update. Z06's are cool - and FAST!
I decided to go with a motor upgrade from EPM. They say it's supposed to work well within the limits of the stock specs. They won't be shipping it out for another three weeks though.

When I get it installed and road tested, I'll let you know how it went!

I decided that I have too many extras on board, and I use the rear end for hauling. That's what made me not want to add two more batteries.

Backer, I hope to talk to EMP at the Bonanza. I want to see if they are interested in furthering my upgrade path. A 2/speed 36v motor on 48v could be smokin'!

Looks like about a four foot lift kit would be required to nav some of those areas!
