Depends on how you want go about doing it. Do you want to run this off the current battery system or a standalone extra battery? If you want to stick with your current battery system. I would suggest you use a voltage meter & find which bank of your batteries equals 12volts. I would run your grounds to the frame of your cart. Not to your battery bank. Grind a spot to the metal (You want a good clean ground) then screw your grounding cables it it. I ran a 8awg wire from the battery bank that was 12v under my cart into the dash to a distribution block (Also for future ideas to add more from). I used a hidden antenna that I got from Fleabay that I had extra when do my radio on my boat. Just plug it in and it is just a wire that can stay in your dash area. I used solder on all my wiring connections instead of wire connectors & heat sink. But you can use whatever is assessable or easier to you. Helps keep a good connection. And helps keep down on corrosion. Hope this helps. I'm new to the site, but I can help a lil' bit... LOL ;)

Also... I didn't think to add earlier that mine is a 36v and I could get a 12v bank source. If your is a 48v, you could get a voltage regulator so cut a 16v bank to an output of 12v. But I don't believe the 16v would be enough to hurt the amp or radio. But to be on the safe side. Hope all that wasn't confusing. :) Good Luck!!!

He already has a voltage reducer connected to the pack. I would find a Tupperware box that the amp will fit in and put it in it. Drill some hole so the RCA jacks and Wires can be pulled through. This will keep it nice and dry.

The Tupperware box is a good idea, but if it is gonna be played for long periods of time & at a high volume. The amp would need a to cool & get cool air. ;)

Maybe a Tupperware box mounted so you can open it for fair weather usage, and only close it up for wet weather. If you really want to get crazy, you can equip it with computer type fan and vent, to cool, but not suck in water.

Thanks for ideas mounting AMP!
Not so much worried about moisture as I keep cart inside garage, try not to dive in rain, plus it's Marine Amp. and should hold up in wet conditions.
My question more on proper wiring to system! First time to mess with something like this and very gen. knowledge only!
Have 36 volts system and installed reducer to 12 volts with no problem. Then ran (I think red and yellow wires) together from stereo to the positive on reducer 12 volt outlet. Then ran black, neg., to reducer neg. outlet.(This makes for continious power supply right? The stereo turns off auto., on standby mode after 20 minutes thus not draining batteries.) Then used color coded wiring harness for speaker connections. Hooked it all-up and works great! Only thing not going through reducer is horn and hidden antenna amp. under dash which I only turn on when need more FM reception. Which is wired direct to 12 volts. or 2 batteries. Does all this make sense?
Whats the best way to power amp. and connect speakers through reducer?
Feel pretty Stupid but got some $ in this and want to do it right!
Thanks again for all the help! ...Posting some pics of amp. connection ports and reducer. JBL6002, 2 Channel

Took Hogasm's advise and bought the fuse block he recommended from West Marine yesterday. Use to buy from them when I had offshore boat. Nothing they sell is cheap! Like they say, you get what you pay for!
Anyway, removed reducer and cleaned up area where I was going to put everything as it was quite dirty! Started cutting wires and mounted fuse block and reducer where I think is the best location.
Ran wires to reducer and from reducer to fuse block.
Connected stereo and lights so far. Used 14 wire and shrink tubing everywhere I could. Powered it backup and works perfect. Will mount Amp this morning as described in pictures.
Question: Do I pull the head, connect to remote wire,Light Blue/Yellow, and run to REM on amp., then cut speaker wires off of stereo harness and run direct to both L/R,+/- on back of AMP. if so, then do I Power AMP with connecting wire from Fuse block to the +12v & - GND? Or do I GND to metal on golf cart?
Am I on the right track or screwing somethin up? Don't worry about makin me feel stupid! Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Good question about the ground. I thought I have read where you DO NOT ground to frame. I think, but want to know,if you can run grounds from one dedicated distribution point? I plan to add accessories and am trying to get all my ducks in a row, if that's possible, which I'm sure it is with all the great people on this forum.
