Default EZGO Body Bad Shape

I am a newbie to this forum, but i need to know an answer to a question i have.... See i have a 1992 EZGO Marthon, the body is in terrible shape, but it runs extremely well and it has brand new batteries... I have a friend who has a Club Car with the Square Body on it, (So its an older one like my EZGO). His does have a good body but nothing electrical works on the cart, it goes in reverse then magically slams into forward no matter what controller he uses... he is going to build a trailer out of the frame and is taking the body off... the question is this:
Will the Club Car Body Work On My EZGO marathon?

There's nothing under the sun that CAN'T be done. (with the singular exception of time travel) It will not be a simple drop on & bolt down operation, I am guessing though...

The plastic body of the next generation EZGO will fit. If I understand correctly, the cow is a bolt on and the rear section takes some modification and manipulation. Going that way will make it look as though you have a newer cart. The bodies are readily available and very cheap.

A TXT plastic body will not fit a Marathon easily. It will fit a Medalist directly.

The TXT body will fit with a little fab-work.You need to remove everything from the cowl except the foot-well itself. My cart in my-pics is a 85' Marathon with a TxT body. The seat-frame needs to be lowered about 1" or so.Its' pretty straight-forward if you have decent fab-skills.The Club-Car body may work, but I'd do a lot of measuring first.I have pics of the swap if anyone needs copies.Hope this helps.
