Where would I ground it to then? a negative wire? Would this cause the fuze to blow? lastly, is there a way to tell, I now get not even the clicking sound from the flasher.

You must ground back to a negative 12v reference on the battery pack. If you don't know how to do this, stop now, or you will burn more fuses...

The box says white wire added as a ground to t/s. What is T/s?

Yes Negative for your ground........ and if in doubt,...... get a volt meter and measure for 12 to 14 volts on the circuit you will be using before hooking up the wires and burning out bulbs.

Thanks this is helping, but I still get nothing, checked and doble checked conections but nothing. Hooked up ground(white) to neg on battery, wires are tight and the way the diagram says, blew fuze when i un did the ground. in line fuse should blo first? I should give up and go fishing!

Look at your lights. Are they grounded through a wire or is the housing grounded. You need to know which to run the wires correctley. The housing of each light needs a ground to it ran back to the 12 volt - terminal.
I have had to rewire complete carts because they used the hot wires for grounds instead of using a ground wire. Just because a light has two wires connected to it doesn't mean it's the right 2. You need at least 3 wires running out of each housing and know which is which. |
