Default Thinking of going from 36 to 48v

I was looking at everything I need to upgrade when going to a high speed motor and my question is. If I upgrade cables (2G) 500 Controller and the two batteries and of course charger. What would I be looking at as far as speed gains? Stock cart with 5" lift and 10" tires. 95 Medalist series cart.

My 48v upgrade increased my mph from 14-15 to 18-19.

Yes the increase in voltage is 33%. Torque and speed should increase the same amount minus any losses due to resistance or worn parts and such. Another neat thing about this is that with higher voltage the amperage use decreases, so you get more power AND longer run times.... PLUS the whole system runs cooler because the motor is drawing less amps...

Looking at what I mentioned above, is there anything else you guys would suggest? Not sure if most post was clear or not after reading it. I was thinking of adding the above mentioned instead of staying at 36v and just getting a high speed motor.
