Brake pads 87 electric EZGO
I've adjust the cable but still not stopping to any satisfaction I pulled the drums inspected and cleaned (springs look good) shoes are glazed Not sure if I need to replace cause they remaining shoe measures 2.5mm Does anybody know the spec of a new on and if I do order new shoes should I replace the springs OR any adjustments I can make

When you adjusted the cables did you adjust the star wheel inside the hub first? If not try that. It's the wheel with teeth on it inside the hub. Get it set so the hub is just snug going on without the brakes being applied. I take the pin out of the brake on the backside of the hub before doing any adjusting.this way you know it's the star wheel that is right then hook it back up to do cables.
