You need a fairly flat area unless the lights are curved? Tape the pattern on and stand back to look at it. Also try looking thru the 'members rides' to see what others have done. Good luck

Good rule of thumb..., measure twice, cut once.

Try finding a piece of scrap tin and make a pattern of the size and bend of the lights, both sides. Use some clear box tape and put them where they fit on the fenders properly..., then step back and admire your work..., before you start cutting. If you like what you see..., mark it for cutting.

Jack it up - take the wheel off and double check nothing is in the way on the backside! Drill a hole in the middle of the cut out area . Insert the saw in the hole and cut away, slowly. The light trim will cover the cut edge.
What's the worst that could happen!?

Thanks it's been raining here so I haven't had to start that first cut.

Keep the reassuring tips coming.

Post photos when you are done. I'd like to see what the effort results in.
