I am getting ready to cut the holes for my rear lights. I guess no guts no glor.
BUT... does anyone have the measurements for the distance to have the lights. I have the patttern but not sure how wnd what place to start? ![]() |

You need a fairly flat area unless the lights are curved? Tape the pattern on and stand back to look at it. Also try looking thru the 'members rides' to see what others have done. Good luck

Thanks, I do have the curved lights so that's why I'm chicken to start the cuts....

Good rule of thumb..., measure twice, cut once.
Try finding a piece of scrap tin and make a pattern of the size and bend of the lights, both sides. Use some clear box tape and put them where they fit on the fenders properly..., then step back and admire your work..., before you start cutting. If you like what you see..., mark it for cutting. |

Jack it up - take the wheel off and double check nothing is in the way on the backside!
Drill a hole in the middle of the cut out area . Insert the saw in the hole and cut away, slowly. What's the worst that could happen!? |
