Electric lift for dump bed.
My '87 Marathon has a dump bed. I can't seem to find any information on getting an electric actuator for this thing. I know they exist and have been a factory option for a long time. ??

I don't know how big your bed is but you might look at Northern Tools. They have a 12 VDC ele lift that you might be able to mount and use. It comes in 3 different lift lengths and lift pounds. I am going to put one under my garden trailer. They can be found on line and you can request a book. Good Luck. Rodger |

Your best bet is to call an EZ-Go dealer and ask them, but honestly on something that old, I think Northern or any thing else you can make fit is your best option.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't go for the OEM version of a lift. It would probably cost more than I have in the cart. But it would be helpful to know what the strength of the factory lift is. Might save trying to reinvent the wheel as it were.

There were good looking actuators in both groups
 I think I would go with the stronger 200 # and 12 inch + or -. Tupe. The price difference is minimal and I think you will be happier with something stonger when you got that baby full of firewood! LoL  Take some pictures and show the install if you do it!? Let us know how it works  |

The stock actuator I looked at on a later model cart was 12 inches closed, 6 inch stroke, motor parallel to ram. No info on strength, weather proofing or speed.
