Default Burned up forward reverse switch

Does any one have a full wiring diagram or pictures for a 99 txt ezgo? I download a manual from this site but it was for 2001 and newer. The fire started at the forward reverse swich and that seemed to take the biggest hit. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appriciated. I can wrench on anything but just starting to learn the electrical stuff!!

And Learning the hard way I might say.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. I have only seen one other cart actually flame up at the F&R.
Be sure to figure out what caused the fire and replace the parts with HD parts.

Thank you very much! I have one more question for now, I have been searching for the new switch and have found the factory ones and the beefed up ones. They say if you are going to eventually lift it, I should bye the beefed up one. Will the beefed up one be okay to use on the stock parts for now? I dont plan on lifting this year just want to get it running again for the girls.

If you have any thoughts of doing any modifications in the future, buy what you need now. Or, at least what is transferable. Were I you, I would replace the F&R switch with a HD model and change ALL the high power wires to (at least), 4 gauge (g), now. There is no sense or savings in buying things twice. Since you fried the F&R, it would be a very good idea to have the controller, solenoid and motor tested by a competent shop. If any are bad or of diminished capacity, replace them (HD), too.

A HD F&R is an excellent choice.
