Default 19/2 spline

I am at my ropes end with wanting a faster cart, i feel my only option is to replace the old rear end with a newer 19/2 spline rear end. i have replaced the resistors with solid state control(axe4844). i need some thoughts on this.

how old are your batteries? what size is your controller and have you upgraded you wires to 4ga if not do so and give plum quik a call to see what you options are for your motor ....... 3 ways to get speed out of an old cart.... a speed motor from one of the sponsored sites here .... more voltage or a gear change.... sad but true i've got a 94 marathon series cart 36 volt i'm having my motor being done by plum quick as we speak for 225 + shipping is well worth it... hope this helps

that sounds like a good set up...pq says 20% more tourqe and speed and yeah you have to send your old motor. my cart was running 13-14 mph and from what i can gather on it you should see around 20-23 mph with stock tires i see you have rims and tires depending on overall size you could see more....

the problem i am having is that i just installed those tires and wheels
(215-40-12") and now my cart is running slower, torque is the same, i was under the impression that bigger tires would make it run faster. i have been talking to the guys at plum quick and they are baffled by what it is doing and they are checking into it

Sporty from your post your tires are 215-40-12" and tire measurements come out to approx. 18.75 tall 8.5 wide. Stock tires are only 18 so I don't think your going to see much increase in speed from this tire size.
