Default need Help 2002 ezgo 36 volt pds golf cart

I changed the body on the cart today. I also added headlights and taillights. When I got done I tried to turn the headlights on and the lights came on and went right back off. The marker lights on the lights stayed on. The Marker lights are all that will work now. Now I try to move the golf cart and it will not move. I can hear a switch or something when I push the gas pedal and thats it. Does the cart have a fuse somewhere? someone anyone please help.

Did you happen to flip the tow run switch to the tow position, and not switch it back? That would be the simple answer to why your car doesn't work.

You check your key switch to see if it were faulty? Also need to check your reed switch in the charger harness...

The key turns like it did before. I have the red white and black wires to the charger checked. I put it on charge and the charger kicks on and charging. I'm lost not sure what to check now.

can the key switch just go bad? If so how can I check to see if it's bad? I hope I don't have to take the body back off.

Yes and no, you could have knocked a wire off while putting the body on? Can a cart stop working by just changing the body? Yes and No again, something could have been loosened, broken, cut, drilled, pinched or forgotten during the installation. It's never easy, just retrace your steps and get out that volt meter

I put the headlights and tail lights on a spare battery and all that is working is the amber markers no taillights or headlights. They are not even hooked to the golf cart. When I hooked the headlight/taillight harness up I put them on the 2 batterys that the charger wires are hooked up to. Is that wgere they should have been hooked up?
