Default Which kit?

I have seen on a couple sites where they talk about a lift kit for a TXT with 3 bolt steering and one for 4 bolt steering. I searched here and didn't find what I was looking for. Where and what do I look for to determine which one I have? Thanks.

The most important thing to know when shopping for a lift kit for any cart would be the year model. In your case with a TXT, there should not be any confusion unless your cart is a 2001. The steering change happened around 2001 and a half.

how to tell the difference in age from 1996-2001 and 2001+. As you see, the steering rack moves from the firewall to the axle, the springs move from the bottom of the axle to behind the axle, and the shock mounts are reversed to hide the bushings. The other differences that are not shown is the newer one rides higher in the front, and the serial number moves from the passenger glove box to under the charger receptacle.

Cart is supposed to be a 2003. I pulled this off the tag in glove box. D4031593352 It didn't show up on any of the identifier charts I have seen. I took this cart up to my mom while I am lifting the Yamaha. Anything else I should be looking for on the EZ GO? No s/n under the plug hole.

as was said, if you have a 03, the steering gear will be 4 bolt and mounted on the axle. look in right side glove box for the mfg. #. the last two digits will be the year.

This is the only number inside the glovebox. D4031593352

Steering is mounted on the axle.

Thanks
