Default dcs vs pds motors

I'm going to ask another dumb question,Please excuse me.
I have a 1999 dcs stock ez go that is very slow (normal) I know,I can use the Pds motor on this cart, but will the speed Increase enough to warrant doing the change ??Now I am a golfer, not trying for 20 mph, would like to run with a stock pds or close. Is this do able with this swap?

Thanks for all that has this kind of knowledge.
Sonny

Unless there is something wrong with the DCS motor, I think upgrading the controller, solenoid and high current cables would produce better results.

Check out ScottyB's #505DCS kit. (Towards bottom of page)

Yes, a simple controller & solenoid upgrade with a few 4g cables will produce 20 mph from the DCS cart.
And if you want to beat the freedom chip PDS carts just race them uphill The DCS cart produces more torque than the PDS does.
Assuming your batteries are in good shape

Thanks for the replies. So, no one thinks the PDS motors will make any difference?
Only asking because I have a pds motor. The cart has a 300 amp controller, but standard wiring and I can get a new solenoid.
