I am not sure if this ha sbeen asked before... but does anyon know the rpm of an electric ezgo txt?

I suspect you want to know what the RPM of the motor installed in a TXT at a given speed is.
When stopped the motor's RPM is zero. Other than that, it depends on the differential gear ratio and the diameter of the rear tires.

Stock gear ratio in a TXT is usually 12.44:1
Stock tire diameter is about 18", but tire diameter varies greatly between manufactures and models of tires by the same manufacturer.
For example, the mounted diameter of an 18X8.5-8.0 Carlisle Links tire, which is a common stock tire, is only 17.4", which is a 3% more motor revolutions per mile than an 18" tire.

For a true 18" tire, the motor spins at 232.307 RPM per MPH.
For a true 17.4" tire, the motor spins at 240.3176 RPM per MPH.
For a true 23" tire, the motor spins at 181.8055 RPM per MPH.
If the rear end ratio is other than 12.44:1, the above RPMs would be different.

That must be for Series motors.
What about the PDS system (Sepex motor)?
Ezgo's published speeds for the freedom chip is 17-19 MPH.
With 18" tires and a 12.44:1 gear ratio, that is 3,949 to 4,414 RPM respectively.

I do have another question though.... I do feel kind of pathetic for asking lol
But how do i put the gear ratio into affect? I mean what exactly does the gear ratio mean?

It is always in effect.
The motor is connected directly to the the differential and if the the gear ratio of the gears installed in the differential is 12.44:1, the motor turns 12.44 revolutions for each revolution of the axles.

The gear ratio can be changed, but it is a major mechanical undertaking, you have to pull the axles, physically disassemble the differential and replace the gears in it.

What i meant was how do i find what size sprockets to use from my gear ratio?

Why not start at the beginning and tell us what you are trying to do. I smell a bike engine going into a cart here. It's been done before plenty of times...

I am juat converting a previously electric golf cart frame to a gas golf cart.

My 2 cents is I have a Honda Clone gx200 "Small Block" with a Tav2 10T and I have a 13T sprocket on my sparky axle. I'm up to about 15mph. The motor is not straining at all and the tav2 makes plenty of torque. I would like to get to 25-30 top speed. Not saying I will run it that way all the time, but its there for passing purposes.
