Default Factory Battery Meter Question

Just upgraded to 48 volts was wondering if the factory state of charge meter is still operational for this upgrade it is the type that has red lines on it, on the face of it says ezgo 36 volt, the cart is a 2000 model series I have read several post on here where alot of guys don't like this type of meter.

No, that LED bar meter is voltage specific.

...and you are better with a real meter that gives you a decimal place or two so you can actually see what your voltage is especially when you increase the load such as running uphill. Have a look at any post by ScottyB, his signature shows what he offers.

Thanks Gornoman that is what I was expecting, is there any suggestions as to a aftermarket meter or is there an O.E. 48 volt that will fit in the same place on the dash?
