Question EZGO 2Five

I'm can't find the reversing buzzer on my 2 Five. The dealer was not sure
where it is. Its too loud, i would like to lower the volume.
Thanks, Bill

Bill,

I can't speak for the 2Five, but I know a lot of the newer Ezgo models are behind the key switch. Can you determine if it's at least towards the front?

It very difficult to pin point, but when i lift the seats the sound is louder, so its
probably from down there.
Thx. Bill

It is under the seat and it's very hard to find.

Thanks, my wife thinks she'll find it. The buzzing sound bounces around and its
impossible to pinpoint. You think the dealer would know.
Thx. Bill

I believe this is the same setup as the RXV carts so if so, the reverse beeper is under the plastic cover that has the run/tow switch in it. Hole facing the pass side about mid way back. With the cart cool, pull that cover off and pull it out of the way and reach under. A little black tape will do wonders.

Thanks, i am optimistic it will be under that plate. I did try to see under and around
but as you suggested i will have to remove that cover.
Thx. Bill

On my RXV it was about 2 inches in front of the resistor coils under the metal plate. Removing the plastic plate won't show it but makes it easier to get to. If the cart is cold, you should be able to search around under there with your hand to find it.
