Default 2000 DCS steering issues

The steering on my 2000 DCS is squirrely at top speed and very hard to turn at slow speed/stop.

Anyone know what I should address in the steering assembly to solve these problems? Thanks

Is the cart lifted? I had a cart that was "squirrely" at top speed and the tow-in just needed to be set. I set it 1/4" in at the front and now you can let go of the steering wheel at top speed and it runs straight. As far as the hard to steer at slow speed I really don't know. Never had one like that.

I just remembered, there are grease fittings on the steering housing. If you have not already done it get a grease gun and grease all the tie rod ends and the housing.

I'll try the grease fittings. Thanks

Also, the cart has 10" wheels but not lifted.

Don't know if you have the same steering I do, but here's what I ended up doing:

A 2000 has a few miles on it. The middle of the rack seems to get the most wear, but all of my bushings had worn enough where it was squirrely when free-wheeling down hill.
