So I'm not sure if the motor is doing this or is the 500 amp alltrax not able to handle all the amps at low end toque. I've tried to call plum quick to ask but after a few tries giving up. I'm hoping you guys here can help. Oh it did get up to 34mph on gps with 48volts going to

Re: help with motor or controller slipping
I have the same problem on my PDS, DCX 500, 48v, #2 welding cable throughout, stock motor On 23" tiires. Settings at 80% turbo off. From stop to full throttle I feel a slip somewhere it's not the hubs, checked twice and torqued to 130 LBS. With turbo on I get 33Mph, at 80% stays at 28Mph. I have a motor temp gauge and normally stays at 135 deg. I think it's the motor slipping somehow. Interested to see if any others have the same issue.

Re: help with motor or controller slipping
Mark each rear tire with a chalk line that runs from the tire sidewall onto the wheel itself. Let's make sure all that torque is not spinning the wheel inside the tire bead.

Re: help with motor or controller slipping
Thanks for the idea, it's not the tire slipping on the rim.

Motor coupling? Try the same thing " Gorno " suggested, but on the motor shaft and coupling.

Re: help with motor or controller slipping
I have a cart that slips every time the batteries get low. It slips on the hill coming up the drive. When I recharge it stops slipping.
Can either of you connect a DVM to the battery pack and see what the pack voltage is doing when this slipping occurs? |

Re: help with motor or controller slipping
Pack before, after about 20 min driving 50.3. Floor it and it goes to 41.9 for a second consistently. Having 3 neighbors standing around watching they think it might be axle wrap. I do have HD 3 leaf springs but have long shackles that came with the all sport lift. Thanks for the suggestions.
