Default TXT Freedom turn signal harness

Anyone know what kind of harness these came with? I want to put a turn signal on my buggy. Hoping someone knows, so I don't have to pull off my dash cover to look. I would rather wait till I get the kit to disassemble.

The one I am looking at has an 8 pin connector. Hoping that it would be plug and play.

Some wiring harnesses come with all the connections, others is just a basic light kit, you may not know until you did deeper. Do you see connections for brakes, horn etc?

I have brakes and horn hooked up. Need to work on the brakes bc the right one stays on. Might have time tomorrow to check the micro and springs under the pedal. Figure it will be easier with the wheel off.

I haven't seen the one for the turn signal. Guessing it is under the cup holder.

If it equipped then it will be under there, pull the cup holder and look at your hardness, you could have a couple different plugs under there.

Thanks Husker, that's what I was trying to avoid by asking. I will probably just order it and hope the connection is an 8 pin when I do disassemble. With the help on here I could probably get it working even if the plug and harness don't match.

It is fairly easy to remove just the cup holder to look under there, this way you will know for sure. Good Luck

Dela, that looks like 6 pin to me. The one I am looking at on Ebay is 8 pin. Have you installed your turn signals yet?

Husker, I have 8-10 screws holding the dash cover on. Don't want to remove it yet because I am taking the buggy to the beach tomorrow. I need to fix the brake light before I do anything else.

My cart has the factory wiring harness and I have the same plug. I haven't installed turn signals but I'm almost positive that this is the connection for an EZGO oem turn signal kit. If you check shopezgo.com you can see the factory kit and the installation instructions are available in pdf. Only a couple of second download and probably worth a look even if you don't buy the factory kit because it shows clearly what connections are on the cart. This kit is plug and play except you have to change some connections on the tail lights. At least you might get a better idea of what you're getting into if you get an after market kit.

When I was running wires to the dash for switches I found a hole big enough to fit the turn signal connection through so I could get to it from under the cowl if I removed the front left tire. This way I could get to it if I decided to install turn signals after I put my dash cover on. Hope this helps.
