Default Alltrax info needed

Just got my install done last night with my new Alltrax 4844 in my 99 EZGO. I can get the solenoid to click, but no wheel turn at all. I only tried once and took note of the LED status to ask before I progress further. When I press the peddle I get 4 green flashes telling me the correct throttle type (thanks Scotty), then it goes to solid red. Does this mean that it is programming itself so I can keep trying to operate it? Will it eventually go green and turn to normal? I have gone through the wiring a few times to verify everything is correct and it is. Thanks for the help on this one in advance.

I had the exact same problem when I installed mine. Swap the black and white wires on the top and it should run.

Well, that kind of worked. I switched the two wires but then the led went to yellow solid after the 4 green flashes. I did get the wheels to turn one time, but one time only. Any other thoughts out there? I checked the wiring again and it is correct. I will try to snap some photos in case we need them.

The LED is a fault code indicator... anything other than solid green is a fault code... 1 red flash is code & orange/yellow is a code. Look in the mini manual that came with the controller. I shows how to hook up the controller and what the fault codes indicate when you get one. OR two in your case.

1 Red is high peddle disable.
Yellow/orange is wide open throttle

so your problem is in the throttle input signal system. Either the signal is incorrect or the program does not fit the cart?

Had the red light first which I could diagnose from the mini manual. Somebody told me to switch the white and black wires on the controller, and that is when I got the yellow orange solid. That code I could not find, just an all yellow. Do you think it is a programming thing? If so I will grab a cable and see what I can do with it tomorrow. Thanks for the reply, cannot wait to try it out on my buggy.

Just for anybody who might be following this thread I have an update. Messed around when I got home and figured out is was the new HD switch cam that I had installed that was messing with me. The switch cam was fine, just an error on the installation on my part. I got the wheels to turn as I would move the switch towards the reverse side to get the beeper to stop beeping at me. Should be fixed tonight and ready to try out the new 400 amp Alltrax.
