Default Reed switch wiring

Reed switch is bypassed. Red wire on positive of charger receptacle. PDS cart, 2004. 60 amp mega fuse broke off the battery positive connection, from corrosion. So charger could not charge (i know, I know, a little more maintenance). Replaced fuse, charging works fine. 39 volts everywhere it needs to be. No voltage where it shouldn't be.

39 volts to key switch, F/R switch, battery side of solenoid (controller side of solenoid 0.5V less than battery side). No forward no reverse, no solenoid click, accelerator micro clicks, no B/U alarm. No go.

Before the fuse was replaced on Bat Pos (+), wife plugged charger in, thinking issue was charging, without actually having the positive charging wire connected to the battery. meanwhile, bypassed reed switch wire (16 GA) still connected to charging port and receiving the entire charging feed.

Could this scenario fry the reed switch circuit?

Assistance? Thanks

Probably not. Just because the white wire with fuse in it wasn't connected to battery pack, the Reed switch circuit didn't receive any more voltage than it normally does.

The B/U beeper should sound whenever the F/R is in R, unless Run/Tow switch is in Tow, so something is amiss with the controller.
