Ezgo steering too short
I recently did some front end mods on my 2001 Ezgo txt cart, and now the steering universal coupler is too short. Can I buy a longer one, or should I cut it and weld in a new extension? Needs to be about 2" longer than stock.

Re: Ezgo steering too short
usually the shocks hold the joint together when in full drop. is that an option?
I not know of any extended couplers avail. |

Re: Ezgo steering too short
No, the spline only fits into the coupling about 1", and when I turn real sharp it comes apart. I had to add the longer springs (pushed it out 3" forward) so it extended the distance in the steering. If there isn't an extension, I might just have to cut it and weld in an extension.

Re: Ezgo steering too short
Is there maybe a different (longer) coupler from a different yr and model?
