Default Newer Seat

I have an EZGO with split back rests. Does anyone know if the newer one piece seat will bolt onto the brackets? I have not had a chance to measure the distance on the newer seats. I am mostly refering to the indents on the back plastic piece where the seat bolts to the frame.

Looks like it's been done. Though I would bet there is some modification to do..

I have a '91 Marathon with split seat backs and a '00 TXT with the one piece seat back so I went out and looked at them. First, they are not the same so simple swap is a no go. The one piece bolts to a 2" wide flat metal bracket so the indents are 2" wide. The split back bolts to a 1"x1" (really 3/4x3/4). The indents are about 1" wide. The distance between the mounts on the one piece is 20" and about 20.5" on the split measured centerline to centerline with a tape measure and mark one eyeball.
Sooooo, mounting a one piece on a split back cart looks fairly easy.

Caveats: I'm not a fabricator so I'm not looking at this with trained eye.
I'm assuming all the seat back mounts are the same on TXT's. My
cart is a shuttle model that comes from the factory with a rear
facing back seat. Though unlikely, it is possible the front seat back
mount on these carts is different than the standard cart.

Hope this helps.
