ez-go-no go-go!
ok guys have at it, let me know your opions, before i get to look at a co workers buggie. heres what i know, its a 01 series, he says it gos, then stops then gos, but theres a sweet spot in the pedal it has no problems, i told him sounds like the poitentionamiter on the pedal, found out its call a fancy name, of something like a potention speed sensor or some crazy name, but then i asked about batteries, he says they are all ok, but old, new cables on them, had the same issue before cables were installed. and he said sometimes no reverse. (not a biggie).
so on saturday, im taking my battery tester over there to test his batterys, and give it a good once over, i know to start at the source first, i understand it could be a bad battery dropping out and causeing issues. but i have a feeling its the inductive throttle sensor or whatever the heck that name is for the throttle speed sensor on the throttle. sounds like the same thank that happens at work when they go out on trucks. so let me have it guys, i am open to anysuggestions, and iff i have to pull the rear wheels to get to the flux capitor, or adjust the dynobrakes i can! oh and i just got a brand new can of liquid squelch, for the radio, turn signal fluid, for the beacon, and rotor wash for the brakes(i hope they work on drum brakes). and i hope i can get you a good exhaulst sample to help in further diagnosing the problems! |

Re: ez-go-no go-go!
check out the f-n-r switch for burnt wires or bad spots.
I have seen a few where the terminals will burn and will make contact some times. Could also be the ITS switch in the floor, but i think you are on the right track. start with batteries, wires, than go the the floorboard area. |

I had a similar issue with one of mine. It was the ITS and micro-switch adjustment. The micro-switch had bent and would disengage when the peddle went to far.
