foward reverse
Im kinda new to all this so im asking for some help...i have a2003 ezgo txt.when i ride off road my switch starts smoking...i have replaced the batt. Cables with four gauge but not the rest of then..is my switch bad or do i need to upgrade the res my cable's ..?? Any he'help would be great..thank you

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. All cables and components must be of the Heavy Duty variety or heat will build at the weak point. If your F/R assembly is smoking it is probably damaged beyond repair and needs to be replaced with an HD unit.

Plus you need to replace all the cables not just the battery to battery cables with HD cable.
