Testing a motor
I was just told that the cart that was given to us hardly ran even when it had new batteries. Is there any way to test the motor before I buy batteries? What are my options if the motor is bad besides spending the $450 for a new one.

Re: Testing a motor
Well that is right let me try again
This worked for me! Be very careful! I would also suggest just using a 12 v battery rather that the whole pack, same test less dangerous! |

Re: Testing a motor
Thanks for the link I will try it when I get home tomorrow. What if the motor appears to be good but the card still has low power? Cables, solenoid?

Re: Testing a motor
Ok well the continuity and power test checked out. The motor spins!!! The connections at the motor were loose and its 6 gauge wire so I will get all of that fixed and order the batteries, hope it runs....
