EZGO Batteries dead
I have a 2003 EZGO, 36 volt, and my batteries are about shot. A friend of mine said he knew how to hook up 3 12 volt batteries in place of the 6- 6 volt batteries, It would cut the price in half but I wonder if it can be done and if it will cause problems down the road. Thanks for any help

Re: EZGO Batteries dead
There are a couple of threads about this subject as we speak.
It seems staying with the 6 6 volt batts is the way to go. I also just got a cart with dead batteries. I bought 6 brand new ones at Sam's for 420.00, and that included tax and all other fees. |

Re: EZGO Batteries dead
Roady, you need to put a sticky about this subject. It comes up alot. Mike
Bigred, 3x12v will work but limited drive time and short battery life, unless you use 12v golf cart batteries and then dollars are not the deciding factor.(3-12v trojans cost as much as 6-6v exides) |

Re: EZGO Batteries dead
1bigseeg, you will be posting again about buying new batteries. With batteries its Pay me Now or Pay me Later. I need new batteries. Can we start a spark fund?
