Question re-conditionded batteries?

anyone have an opinion about re-con batteries. I am in need of new batteries on my ez-go and was told about a place nearby that sells re-con batteries. the guy telling me about them swears by them and says they are good as new ones.... selling for 35 bucks apiece. this sounds too good to be true to me. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is.

In my own little opinion............. If it really worked, I believe that every battery shop known to man would be restoring batteries. Just as with new batteries have a demand, used ones would also if they met customer expectations for a while.

I realize there are people who restore their own occasionally, most with different results. If they work for them, that is great. I'm gonna put my money on a "known" good battery.

Just my own 2 pennies...............

Is the guy that is telling you about them the one who is selling them?
