Changing Trucourse Technology options to Freedom mode
I acquired a used 2012 TXT Freedom from a private party. After reading the owners manual I am assuming my cart is set in the "Golf Coastal" performance option as my speed tops out at 15 mph. The manual mentions using a handheld diagnostic tool to change the performance mode to "Freedom" which should increase the maximum speed to 18.5 mph. Is this something that has to be done at authorized EZ Go dealers? or is there a work-around I can do myself? Any help would be much apprecaited!
