I need a little more ground clearance
I am not really interested in a big lift kit.
I have a 95 electric medalist, and I need a little more ground clearance. I am very happy with the current ride. I did a small tire / wheel upgrade. i went with a much more aggressive tire (a good big bigger too, but still an 18 x 8 tire). I am currently replacing the rear springs, which i know will pick the rear end up a bit. Problem is at weird angles my front tires scrub. I need a little more height. I was considering a 3" lift, but I was told I would lose torque. I dont want to do that. Do any of you have any ideas??? Change front springs / shocks??? Or will a 3" not change my torque that much? |

Re: I need a little more ground clearance
How would raising the cart cause lost torque? Taller tires cause lost torque.
Added: I'd you just need a little bit you could install a spacer or shim between the frame and springs. Or you coul add a leaf to the front end. I idi the add a leaf to mine and it worked fine. You will need longer bolts but it is easy to do. Good luck |
