help with 90 exgo cart

new batteries with full charge , new pot switch runs 0 to 5k idle to full, cart runs 5 minutes seems to slow down, park it for 30 minutes to an hour jump back in goes again like a fully charged one 6.3 each battery aqround 38 volts at the plug in connector for the charger , one motor ternimal was gettting hot tothe touch i cleaned all 4 terminals and reattached the cables seems connectors not getting hot anymore , i looked through all the stickies and would like to check diagostics on the controller and motor , is there a specific link someone canpost here for me or am i going in the wrong direction
