Default I Need help

i got an 85 or 86 ez go that when you turn the f/r switch to either side with the key off the cart will move if i dont have the brake on can anyone help me

When you put the cart on foward or reverse the car will move even with the key off and then overheats

The speed board may also be out of whack on not getting to the complete off position. Check the board contacts and wiper arm for full and completer motion from stop to WOT.
