Default DCS Won't Go! HELP!!

I just installed a used controller and everthing was good for a couple of weeks. Pulled the cart in the garage and went to use it 2 days later and the solenoid clicks but nothing else. I went thru the 7 test from the Stickys and everything was good till #6&7. Only have 8.5 volts on pin #2 and .2 volts on pin #1. The diagram shows them going to the speed sensor in the pedal box. Is this the problem or is the controller jacked again. I have already switched the solenoid with no luck. Help please.
Thanks

Replaced the black thing what ever it is called in the pedel box and it changed nothing. Have I toasted another controller. Could the motor be causing the problem? I am lost at this point.

The black thing I believe your referring to is called an ITS or ignition throttle sensor...All to often I have replaced a controller on a DCS only to find to underlying problem was the motor creating a short to the controller...ruining both..I think your on the right track with the motor and controller being now bad again due to the motor backfeeding power...Do a test on the motor..

To check for a short set your meter to continuity test. You should have continuity between the 2 A terminals and between the 2 F terminals but no continuity between any S and any F terminals.

The continuity checked correct on the motor. Could there be an intermittent short. This is the second controller and the motor seems to be the only variable. Does the low voltage pins 1 & 2 on the controller where the black and white wire are indicate anything?

Yeah, check for continuity between the blk or white F leads and the cart frame. Not uncommon problem with the Sepex TXTs and it will take a controller out. Pull a couple of batteries and see if the wires are rubbed bare where they go around the battery support frame ...
