Default How to make cart faster

2004 TXT pds 36v. Purchased this cart about a month ago. It has a lift and 23x10.50-12 tires on it and currently runs 23mph on gps. Previous owner purchased the cart and did not know what was done to the cart for the increased speed. Would i need to change the motor and controller. If so what is recommended.

23 is pretty good. You prob have an upgraded motor and controller already. You could look at changing gearing, m looking into that now as well.

Post some pics

Oh man, you're that lucky ******* who found the $1g steal!!

Take a pic of motor and under seat.

If you have an upgraded motor, fnr and controller we are ALL going to hate you

No upgraded motor. 73445G02 is a stock Ezgo motor.

At 23 mph you have to have a bigger controller in that thing...Plus pds cart controllers often burn up when you go to larger wheels and tires so theres a good chance its upgraded...
