Ezgo Controller 1991 Marathon
I think my controller may be bad. I have the Curtis manual telling me how to troubleshoot. I have not removed the controller yet, but I assume that I have the 1204-001 contoller. This controller is supposed to have the high pedal disabling feature. A friend gave me a 1204-015 controller to try. I think it came off of a Club Car. If it did, I don't think it has the HPD feature. Anyway, it has the same volts 24-36 & amps 275.
My question is, will this work on my Marathon? Thanks for any help. |

Re: Ezgo Controller 1991 Marathon
An 91 marathon uses a 0-5k pot for throttle.....most Club Cars use a 5k-0 ohm pot for throttle. Sorry, it will not work out of the box.

Re: Ezgo Controller 1991 Marathon
Thanks for the info.
But could I use it for testing purposes, to ensure everthing else works by holding the accelartor down? |

Re: Ezgo Controller 1991 Marathon
It would work reverse. You could hold the pedal down for no throttle, let up for full throttle. Not very safe.
