Default 96 ezgo battery replacement

Hi Everyone
Been trying to fix a 96 ezgo electric golf cart at work. Problems are as follows:
A- Cart runs slow, i replaced back tires because the previous owner had the foam filled to prevent flats. They were very very heavy.

B- I replaced 3 batteries but had been told to replace them all. I think i should because there is no movement now forward or reverse and when I put meter across the batteries they drain down from 36 volt to o when I push on the accelerator.

The wires and connections are dirty. Should I clean all of them? Also my battery cables are rather dirty and full of green stuff. Should I replace those?

Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forum thebaronk....................

Yes, it's to your benefit to replace the batteries with all new ones.

Also Get rid of those corroded cables. They will only cause delays and troubles. May as well get them new and replace them.

New batteries and new cables are the success to more life in your cart.

Yes, I don't blame you for removing the foam filled tires. I would have too. There are certain folks who want them too, Such as factories and construction sites.
